Job Title: Senior Solution Architect
Location: Beijing/Shanghai
Role:
This position plays a key role in transforming EMC technologies into customer oriented solutions by which EMC Solutions Group can help companies capitalize on the full value of EMC platform through solution enablement. This role acts as a focal point in responding to customer requirement and presenting EMC solutions to customer executives and management; He/she can well understand customer strategy and mission and interpreting EMC value proposition in both business and technical areas through solution development lifecycle.
Responsibility:
The responsibilities include:
l Customer executive calls in interpreting EMC’s technologies & solution roadmap and how EMC solutions can provide business value to customers’ directions.
l Define solution stack for specific industry and customer and sort related partners for alliance through partner negotiation and product investigation. Define partner framework for specific solution to support service project implementation in the long term.
l Pre-sale support for pilot solution project, including developing sales kit, customer calls, tailoring solution components, organizing proposals etc.
l Enhance solution functionalities and abstract solution patterns through pilot and following projects.
Competencies and Experience expected:
The successful candidate:
l Need fully understand specific industry business strategy, have deep industrial knowledge and insight to address customer business requirement and link-back to IT requirement & solution.
l Strong communication skills and the ability to take a leadership role in interfacing with customers, project managers and field teams to identify business problems and help create solutions that achieve targeted business
l More than 8 year working experience of IT service/solution consulting or architect role.
l In-depth knowledge in cloud computing, data center architecture and virtualization, storage background is preferred.
l Fluency in English and Mandarin.
