Project Manager(Supply Chain)
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform all functionality related to sourcing, project management and Supply Chain covering hardside and softside coolers
· Lead and manage RFQ and all commercial agreements enforcement. Provide material and labour cost, VAT, exchange rate, freight rate analysis and statistic to minimize impact on cost and delivery
· Set up, optimize and store all relating working process and tools to streamline operation effectiveness and efficiency
· Manage a variety of projects of new material, component and finished goods sourcing, new manufacture engineering process and complete new design sourcing within timeframe required. Familiar with projects involving molding process (injection, blow and rotational), printing/dying fabrics and various textile manufacturing and treatment process
· Responsible for and support on all kinds of engineering issues including but not limited to design evaluation and calibration, manufacturing analysis, product and packaging inspection and other trouble shooting issues
· Bridge and facilitate communications between Igloo US headquarter and its suppliers
· Lead on new supplier pre-qualification in perspective of quality, engineering and operation capability. Perform general evaluation and run point on continuous improvement CAP
· Provide guidance & assistance to Supplier IPQC, testing, audit, quality system and quality process improvement activities
· Responsible for On-Time-Delivery and overall Supply Chain Performance of suppliers. Provide latent problem warning and lead on supplier performance improvement plan
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
· Textile or engineering degree or related major with relevant 5 years experience in managing soft-lines or hard-lines commodities
· Consumer goods project management or sourcing experience for over 5 years
· Previous experience with American companies and large retailers is preferred
· Knowledge and understanding of quality, compliance regulation, product and component testing pertaining to soft sides
· Very good English communication skills and fluent in Mandarin
· Good computer software operational skills
· Good understanding in reading engineering files, specifications and prints
· Knowledge and understanding of textiles construction and performance, color reading, textile manufacturing and treatment process
· Good reasoning ability and decision maker
· Capability and willingness to frequent travel
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in textile, mechanical engineering or related fields
· Training and knowledge on project management, engineering, sourcing and ISO certification
· Previous work with Large retailers such as Walmart, Target…etc.
· Identify with US value and moral principles
· Honest, dedicative, creative, straight forward, smart and loyal to the company
· Strong at interpersonal skills
· Ability to make right decisions based on asymmetrical information on hand
